Steps Before Applying

Before lodging your application, ensure the following steps are completed:

• Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI): To be invited to apply, you must score at least 65 points in your EOI submitted through SkillSelect.

• Receive an Invitation to Apply:
  You can only proceed with your visa application after receiving an official invitation from the Department of Home Affairs.

• Familiarize Yourself with the Points System: Points are calculated based on several criteria, such as:

  • Educational qualifications (Diploma, Degree, PhD)
  • English language proficiency

  • NAATI accreditation
