Living Expenses in Australia

In addition to tuition fees, international students must plan for everyday living expenses, which can be a significant financial commitment. While Australia offers a high quality of life, living costs especially in cities like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane can be high.

To meet visa requirements, students must demonstrate access to at least AUD 29,710 per year for living expenses.

If accompanied by family members, additional financial evidence is required:

Actual costs vary by location and lifestyle. Students in regional or smaller cities may benefit from lower living expenses.
